CISCE ISC Exam Date 2024:The class 12 (ISC) Psychology exam has been postponed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) due to a lost question paper package.
The official announcement said, “Kindly note, one of the ISC Year 2024 Examination Centers has reported the Question Paper packet of the forthcoming ISC Year 2024, Psychology Examination, lost.”
The above exam will now be conducted on April 4 at 2 PM.
“The Question Papers of the ISC Psychology Examination, which was scheduled for Wednesday, 27th March 2024 should be handed over to the Convener of your centre at the earliest. A fresh set of Question Papers to be used for the ISC Year 2024 Psychology Examination, scheduled for Thursday, 4th April 2024, will be sent to the Convener of your school, shortly,” the official notification stated.
This is for the second time in this year that this board has postponed an exam. Chemistry paper 1 (theory) for class 12 was also postponed in February. This happened two hours before the exam “due to unforeseen circumstances” and the exam was rescheduled to March 21.
What is CISCE ISC Exam
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations every year. ISC is a standardised examination for students who are completing their schooling under the CISCE board in India.
It is equivalent to the 12th grade board exams according to other Indian education boards and serves as a pathway for students to pursue higher education or enter the workforce.
CISCE ISC Exam Eligibility:
Students who have completed their 10+2 education (12th grade) under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) affiliated schools are eligible to appear for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination.
These students must have gone for their schooling in Indian schools which are following the CISCE curriculum.
