CBSE Accountancy paper 2024 analysis: On March 23, 2024, the Class 12 Accounting exam was successfully administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The exam was conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM over the course of three hours. 

Based on preliminary feedback from both educators and pupils, the CBSE 12th Accountancy exam has been assessed as moderately challenging. Although there were quite a few difficult questions on the paper, the majority of pupils were able to finish it on time. It was said that the multiple choice questions were difficult. The students’ reports pointed out that the paper was manageable overall.

Deepa Upadhayaya, the Head of Commerce at Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir in Delhi, asserts that the majority of students considered the paper was manageable and in line with their expectations. Overall, the paper covered a wide range of issues thoroughly and in a balanced manner.

CBSE Accountancy paper 2024 highlights:

Experts’ thorough analysis revealed that the paper was both simple and complex at the same time. The sample paper that CBSE gave served as the basis for several of the questions. The experts said the paper was conceptual in nature and well-balanced. Students will be able to do well on the test even though there were some difficult questions.

CBSE 12th Accountancy Paper 2024 – Marking Scheme:

The accountancy theory exam held a maximum score of 80 marks. The 34-question test had been divided up into two sections, Part A and Part B.

It was obligatory for all students to attempt Part A, which covered accounting for partnerships and companies. The following were two subsections in Part B to select from: (i) Financial statement analysis; and (ii) accounting by computer.

CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Paper 2024 – Student’s Reactions

Students are required to bring their school ID and admit card to their exam centres, per the guidelines set forth by the CBSE. The last CBSE Class 12 test is scheduled for April 2, 2024. At 1:30 PM, the CBSE 12th Accountancy exam was concluded. Students expressed that the level of difficulty of the CBSE Accountancy paper 2024 was moderate. It was not as simple as it seemed to answer the multiple-choice and numerical questions. Students were satisfied with the accountancy exam since they were able to complete it on time, even though the paper was doable.
